Paris Hilton says NO to sex tapes.

It appears Paris Hilton is now talking about her infamous sex tape to warn other girls about the risks of letting themselves be filmed. Now who knows if this is just a sad attempt at publicity considering her star seems to have waned, or if she sincerely means it, but I do think her warning should be heeded.

Wheres the ball gag?

Where's the ball gag?

One thing that never ceases to surprise me is the fact that in some parts of the US, educating teenagers to have safe sex is not taught in schools, as if teenage pregnancy and STD’s don’t warrant some serious educating. In fact, lately I’ve been thinking that teaching them about condoms and other contraceptives is not enough. These days safe sex should also cover the possible consequences of allowing yourself to be filmed in sexual situations. While I do enjoy looking at sexy pictures and films I do worry that the society-imitating-porn culture of today will come back to bite a lot of people in the ass. Letting your boyfriend tape you on his cell phone while you are blowing him might seem like a fun, sexy thing to do now, but how will it affect your life if it ends up on a tube site?

Bring back the pubic hair!

If porn is anything to go by you’d think that women by and large did not have pubic hair, or if they do, it consists of a tiny patch left on top in the shape of a landing strip. Yesterday, I was looking at reviews of adult sites and one of my favorite lesbian sites received comments like, “It’s great if you like hairy girls”. I always thought that the term hairy in the porn industry referred to women with an excessive amount of body hair, more than the average woman would have if she didn’t remove it. The reviewers comments merely shows that these days pubic hair is so rare, that liking girls who have chosen not to remove their pubic hair is almost considered a fetish in itself. From the shaven crotch shots of Britney Spears, Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan, to the popularization of terms like Brazilian in our vernacular, to the growing number of establishments offering pubic hair removal, acquiring a hair-free snatch has never been as popular or easy.

A friend of mine recently started laser treatments to permanently remove most of her pubic hair. She had planned to remove all of it but I convinced her she may one day change her mind and she agreed and left a landing strip on the mound. While I have experimented with the full Brazilian and think it’s a fun thing to do occasionally to spice things up, my mainstay has been the neatly trimmed look. Actually, I’m in two minds about this trend to remove it all. Firstly, while I think fully shaven looks great on some women, like heads, I don’t think it suits every pussy. Secondly, I think pubic hair can often look sexier, especially in erotica.

Definitely a woman!

Definitely a woman!

There was no nudity in my home when I was growing up, so I caught my first glimpse of a woman’s naked body courtesy of a local mechanic who’d given my dad, like all customers in those days, a complimentary nudie calendar. He’d put the calendar inside a cupboard door in his garage and one day, while searching for sandpaper for a school project I came across the calendar. Unable to tear my eyes away, I took the time to study each picture carefully, noting the heavy dark-nippled breasts, come hither poses, and of course the dark thatches of pubic hair. I recall one woman sitting on a chair with legs spread, her dress positioned to expose her pussy, the dark thatch of pubic hair providing a stark contrast to her pink folds. The secrets her womanly body held must have aroused me because later I asked my friend to draw me, while I posed as I’d seen in the calendar, and she added the breasts and pubic hair I had not yet developed. Like all good things, our art session ended when my mother walked in on us.

Another pubic hair related memory involved an older neighborhood girl who had already gone through puberty. We’d go swimming at the local public pool and I can still remember being directly behind her on the ladder as she’d climb out of the pool, and there would be dark hairs poking out from her bikini bottoms. I’m sure that summer she provided the neighborhood boys with enough material to launch a thousand hand jobs.

Old school sexy when women looked like women.

Old school sexy when women looked like women.

Maybe because of these early influences I still appreciate how sexy pubic hair can be. That doesn’t mean I can’t appreciate the fully shaven look too – I can. In fact another one of my favorite lesbian sites features mostly shaven girls. But more often than not, and especially when it comes to still photographs, I think pubic hair is so much sexier. What could better spell sex than the combination of sheer panties and the dark triangle of womanhood?

Does life imitate porn or does porn imitate life?

A friend of mine recently posed the question, “Does life imitate porn or does porn imitate life”. As an avid traveler, he’d had the opportunity to meet and have sex with women from all over the world. He started to notice patterns emerging based on nationality, and a correlation with the countries porn. For example, he said that American women were very vocal, telling him things like I want your big hard cock inside me now or fuck me harder, and making lots of noise, in particular loud screaming orgasms.

He also spent some time in Japan and came to the conclusion that Japanese women have sex in the same way as their porn counterparts. They never come straight out and say they want to have sex, and during sex they act helpless and overpowered, with lots of dame and itai finishing with a very high-pitched kimochiiiiiiiiiiiii. At this point the ‘evidence’ could be taken either way – that American and Japanese women are influenced by the porn industry, or that the porn producers are influenced by the sex that their countrywomen are having.

Except that in his travels he also got to visit Israel. He described the women there as being a lot more creative and varied when it came to sex. There was no common style. Actually this is when he came up with his question, because it occurred to him that Israel didn’t have much of a porn industry. Perhaps because of this, the women were influenced less by what is deemed sexy by the porn industry, and free to do it whatever way they pleased.

Does life imitate porn?

Does life imitate porn?

I tend to think that life imitates porn. Ten years ago heiresses and celebrities did not go around allowing themselves to be seen in amateur porn films, and if they did appear in something like that, it pretty much meant the beginning of the end. Remember when Vanessa Williams was stripped of her Miss America crown because she’d appeared in Penthouse? These days you can watch Paris and Kim starring in their own homemade porn, Britney and Lindsay flashing their pussies, and even teen starlet Miley Cyrus in her own sexy photos. And where celebrity goes, the masses follow. Many teenagers today see nothing wrong with being photographed naked or videotaped having sex, despite the risk those pictures will end up on the internet. Porn is no longer the reserve of the professionals. These days amateur porn using real amateurs (not porn stars without make-up and poor film quality) are growing in popularity. I guess they are part of the life-imitating-porn generation. What do you think?

Oh and before I forget, in the name of science, my friend is looking for some German girls who want to party. Shizer ok.
